Denmark Photos Western Australia (and Surrounds)

Locations

Denmark is a idillic coastal settlement in Western Australia’s Great Southern region. It is surrounded by beautiful farmland and forest and some of the most stunning coastal scenery in the world.

Denmark is within an hour’s drive from small towns Walpole, and Nornalup, and the major centre of Albany.

One of the most popular attractions to the area is the Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk, which is an elevated walkway about 40 metres high that allows visitors to walk amongst the canopy of the 400+ year old Giant Tingle trees, with some spectacular views.  Not far away is the Giant Tingle Tree, famous for being the oldest, and largest girthed eucalypt in the world.

Greens Pool is a beautiful sheltered beach with turquoise waters, a perfect spot for a swim. It is nearby another popular spot for visitors, known as Elephant Rocks. These rocks are known for resembling a herd of elephants, due to their solid, rounded and very large shapes.
