Peaceful Bay is about 30km east of Walpole with a small permanent community and a caravan park which fills to capacity during the holiday periods. Peaceful Bay is a popular holiday destination for those who want a relaxing time away. It’s a good fishing spot, and popular for launching boats too. The beach is well protected and is a perfect spot to go swimming or snorkelling. If you have a 4 wheel drive, the beach and numerous unsealed tracks are readily accessible too, which opens up a much greater area to explore. The area is also known for its impressive wildflowers during the wildflower season, with some visitors travelling across the globe to experience them.
