Eagle Bay is located on the eastern side of Cape Naturaliste, inside the protected waters of Geographe Bay. It’s a beautiful sheltered bay with clear shallow turquoise water. It’s absolutely ideal for swimming, kayaking, snorkelling or any other water activities.
The beach along Eagle Bay is also very popular for fishing, especially during salmon season. It is not unusual to see dolphins, seals and whales in the bay.
Eagle Bay is only a few minutes away from Dunsborough and its beaches are a favourite playground for locals and visitors to the area. There is even a small 4WD only boat ramp. Eagle Bay is also one of the few locations along Cape Naturaliste where there is residential property and boasts some of Western Australia’s premium luxury homes, some being available as holiday rentals.
Eagle Bay is close to Meelup, Bunker Bay, and the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse. It’s a perfect haven to spend a summer’s day cooling off in the water, and there’s so much to explore nearby. It can become very busy at times, especially during school holidays.
